Description

Empower Youth Network (EYN) invites you to join us in building better futures for youth.

Youth Development is a strategic priority for EYN, and the elements that are part of our Youth Development Program have been carefully selected to increase youths' attachment to the community and to provide youth with the tools they need to be successful, healthy citizens. The core areas of our Youth Development Program are: Youth Leadership (includes youth leadership groups and Be the Change Summit), Pre-employment Skill Development, Youth Suicide and Substance Abuse Prevention, and Youth Success Mentoring.

This important work must involve all sectors of the community in collaboration to assess and improve the conditions that influence the health of our youth and their families.

We believe that together, we are creating a caring community for youth and their families where youth are connected and valued, families are supported, and the community is collaborating for the greater good! A community where tough topics like suicide, substance abuse and depression are addressed through prevention.
