Mission

Copious Love Productions seeks to amplify traditionally marginalized voices through emotionally truthful, psychologically deep, and authentic storytelling. Our programs focus on developing new work, supporting emerging voices, and creating a collaborative community of artists and audiences.

Description

Founded in 2010, Copious Love Productions has been committed to creating a collaborative community of artists and audiences, supporting emerging voices, and producing seasons of entirely original Seattle works. Our programs include main stage theatrical productions, workshops, readings, and community events.

Our 2024 programming included a regular new play reading series, Plays on Tap, in which we featured 6 local playwrights in support of developing their work, along with special programs such as Write Night, a night for playwrights, and Director/Playwright Speed-Dating. We intend to maintain and expand that level of programming in forthcoming seasons in order to serve more writers and audiences. 

Vision

Our long term vision for Copious Love is to become a leader in creating sustainable, equitable, human-first theatre, and to become the premiere new play development center in Seattle. Copious Love Productions is fiscally sponsored by Shunpike.
