Community House on Broadway

The Community House on Broadway 501C3 organization that is a clean and sober homeless recovery center that exists to help individuals & families in Cowlitz County become self-sufficient by providing: 

- Temporary & transitional housing for homeless individuals & families

- A safe, clean housing environment.

- Regular nourishing meals, emergency clothing & personal items. 

- Professional case management ( help developing & adhering to an action plan). 

- A working conduit with existing physical, mental & spiritual support services within the community. 

- Mental Health & Substance Use services onsite. 

During their stay at the Community House, residents are required to abide by the house rules, which include abstaining from drugs and alcohol, participating in weekly House Meetings, engaging in Case Management in order to begin overcoming their barriers, and completing their chores to help maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone.

Community House on Broadway was founded in 1988. The 1920's shelter was once called Hotel Broadway!
