Mission

Centerforce's mission is to empower adults with disabilities to engage in their community through advocacy, employment, and education.

Description

Centerforce has proudly been working in the South Sound community for more than 50 years.

We promote and advocate for the general welfare of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; foster the development of programs on the individual's behalf; aid the client, parents, and/or guardians in the solution of issues that arise; coordinate efforts and activities on their behalf; and cooperate with all public and private agencies and organizations in the furtherance of these ends.

Our Community Employment and Community Inclusion programs currently serve 200 individuals (students and adults) with disabilities throughout Pierce, King and Thurston counties. The individuals served have a wide range of disabilities and several barriers to traditional employment. Our nonprofit is reaching out to ask our South Sound neighbors to help us in supporting this underserved community.
