Mission

BaaHaus works cooperatively with other local humane organizations for the benefit of farm animals in danger or distress, responds to local rehoming requests, actively advocates for humane treatment, and promotes compassionate relationships among animals and people.

Description

BaaHaus has served as a farm animal sanctuary since 1997. Our primary purpose is to provide a permanent home for abused or neglected farm animals, and to respond to requests from people no longer able to care for their animals. We also serve the community by working to improve the overall quality of our local environment, promoting the humane treatment of all living creatures, and informing the public on the benefits of vegetarianism. Of particular interest is providing information concerning the link between animal cruelty and domestic violence.
