To enhance the lives of children who have special needs and the high school athletes who mentor them. We believe that by modeling acceptance and inclusion, we can strengthen and transform communities.

Description

Athletes for Kids envisions a community where children of all abilities are celebrated.

Our program matches children who have special needs with high school athletes to learn from each other and positively impact each others' lives.

We help children who have special needs reach their potential by developing greater self-confidence, social skills, self-esteem, and essential life skills.

We help student athletes reach their potential by developing character, leadership skills, compassion, and commitment.

We help schools and communities reach their potential by fostering environments where differences are celebrated and where all students are treated with dignity and respect.
