Mission
The Academy for Precision Learning (APL) is an independent K-12 school that provides an innovative and transformational learning community that empowers neurodivergent students. Support through the 2023 GiveBIG campaign will go directly to supporting our amazing staff who create inspiring moments for our learners every day.
Description
APL provides a celebratory & inclusive learning experience for neurodiverse learners. Community support makes the work possible - thank you! Backed by best practices and the latest developments in supporting autistic children, we create opportunities that promote the academic achievement & social development of learners who benefit from a learning environment with smaller class sizes and embedded supports. Learners are engaged in developmentally appropriate, data-informed, individualized experiences that put them on a path to achieving their highest quality of life.
Your donation through the 2023 GiveBIG campaign will help APL strengthen and evolve our program through:
- Ongoing professional development opportunities for our highly skilled staff
- Near-monthly field trips that connect curriculum to our community
- Classroom supplies for project based learning
- Developing programming around celebrating neurodiversity for families and the community
These investments, along with many others in the coming year, will help us bring more neurodiversity and joy to our community, and yours.
