Our mission at A Caring Closet is to restore dignity and self sufficiency to the under-served and under-insured by providing gently used durable medical equipment (DME) to those in need at no cost in Southwest Washington.
Founded in 2016, our organization serves as a clearinghouse for donated equipment, which includes hospital beds, Hoyer lifts, standard and electric wheelchairs, crutches/canes and many other DME items, which are then distributed to individuals in need through a storefront in Vancouver, Washington.
Your funds will directly support us moving into a larger space. A Caring Closet has outgrown our current location. Our goal is to move to a larger, more spacious warehouse type location. Every single dollar will go towards securing a new space and help with the increased rental cost.
